Local delivery platform, with an admin dashboard and a driver app

The challenge

A business that sells online delivers orders locally with its own drivers. Orders already came in through its platform, but everything that happened next - deciding who delivers what, getting addresses to the drivers, knowing where each delivery stands and keeping the customer informed - was handled by hand.

It needed a tool that started from the orders the business already received, without changing its sales platform, and gave the admins real-time control of deliveries.

What we built

Three connected parts: the integration with the client's platform, a dashboard for the admins and an app for the drivers.

Integration and automations

• Orders arrive on their own: we connect to the client's service, and orders to deliver enter the system with no re-keying
• Customer notifications: automatic messages at every change in the delivery status

Admin dashboard

• Assign orders to drivers, and reassign them when needed
• Live driver positions on the map, together with the status of each delivery
• History and reports of deliveries by day and by driver

Driver app (iOS and Android, built with Flutter)

• List of assigned orders, with addresses and delivery details
• Push notifications when a new order comes in
• One-tap navigation to the address
• Delivery status updated by the driver and seen at once in the dashboard
• Proof of delivery with a photo or signature

Outcome

Orders, drivers and deliveries are managed from one place: admins see in real time who is delivering what and where, drivers have everything they need on their phone, and customers know when their order will arrive. The platform has been in use since 2025.
